Principal Project Officer Alcohol and Other Drugs

This is a chance to bring your strong applied skills and / or project management skills to help shape the future Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) service delivery in QCS. The Principal Project Officer, AOD Program Re-design will lead the re-design of existing AOD program models and procure outsourced services and ensure its effective implementation.
The role will support the Project Manager with activities focused on the redesign, procurement and implementation of AOD services and programs. This will require the establishment of effective governance controls to ensure appropriate attention to planning, monitoring and reporting on key activities and milestones. You will also be required to undertake liaison, consultation, discussion and negotiation with key internal and external stakeholders to support project and service delivery outcomes.
You will work closely with the Community Corrections and Specialist Operations Program Management Office (CCSO PMO) to ensure the delivery and enhances the quality of the QCS reform agenda. Success in this role will also draw on your strong interpersonal skills, problem solving abilities and have a genuine desire to develop solutions that improve the rehabilitation outcomes for prisoners while ensuring they align to QCS' strategic reform agenda.
