**A bit about the role**

In the position of **Pre School Field Officer**, you will be reporting to the Area Leader Pre School Field Officer and will work collaboratively with a range of highly skilled professionals within the Family Sector and Partnerships Unit. Our team is at the centre of supporting an integrated service approach, where practitioners work collaboratively together to deliver services, support children, families and our communities.

This role will be responsible for supporting and empowering Early Childhood professionals to gain the confidence in providing inclusive and responsive programs that align with the principles of the Victorian Early Years Framework.

We have three permanent part time positions available:

- Position One - 24 hours per week (Tues/Wed/Thurs)
- Position Two - 30.4 hours per week (Mon/Wed/Thurs/Fri)
- Position Three - 30.4 hours per week (Mon/Wed/Thurs/Fri)

**What you will deliver**
- Provide consultation to build the capacity, engage and empower Early Childhood professionals to support the inclusion and participation for children with developmental & learning needs and/or diagnosed disabilities.
- Support the facilitation of referral pathways, funding and resources available for children (e.g., allied health providers)
- Understanding of program strategies and adaptations to support children's learning

**What you will bring**
- Demonstrated ability to work in collaborative partnerships with other professionals, build and manage a diverse range of networks and form positive working relationships with early childhood professionals.
- Demonstrated experience understanding of the impact of trauma and disadvantage on a child’s development and the importance of relationships in fostering a child’s learning and development.
- Demonstrated experience in responding to the diversity of children, families and educators. Understanding the values and needs of our diverse community, including cultural parenting practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood is required, with experience in planning and delivering high quality inclusive kindergarten programs. Additional qualifications or experience working in Early Intervention is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Victorian Child Safe standards and reporting obligations.
