**THE OPPORTUNITY**
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Bradfield Class Support team as a Technical Assistant. In this part time part year role (ideally Mondays and Thursdays), you will be joining the Design and Visual Arts support Staff. In this role, you will be providing high level technical assistance to support the effective and efficient delivery of educational programs. You will assist with class set up adhering to WHS Compliance. The opportunity also includes handling, ordering, and storing arts supplies and equipment, supporting the hard and soft workshops and photography lab and their related machinery, equipment and supplies as well as setting up displays of student works.

**ABOUT YOU**
Working in a supportive environment, you will play a vital role in assisting with the delivery of educational programs. Your experience in workshops and well-developed knowledge of tools and equipment will be key in this role. Your initiative to identify and organise resources required by students and staff will deliver service excellence. Your eye for detail and visual presentations will be utilised during regular college events and activities.
If you have

1. Knowledge and experience of equipment and materials used within the area of employment.

2. Ability to identify and perform minor maintenance on tools, equipment and machinery used within workshops.

3. Ability to work with minimum supervision and as an effective team member.

4. Ability to use a computer and software packages for ordering stock and maintaining equipment.

5. Proven ability in communication, organisational and customer service skills.

**DESIRABLE**
Experience in supporting a diverse range of students encompassing welfare and learning.
