**About the Role**

Due to the expansion of the business, our warehouse is being relocated from Beenleigh to Yatala from May/2023. The newly created Warehouse Manager position will be based in our brand-new facility.

Reporting to the managing director, you will be a hands-on leader of the warehouse team over day and afternoon shifts. The key responsibilities of this role shall include, but not be limited to:

- Ensure the warehouse is clean and tidy every day with high standards of safety and efficiency.
- Effective and accurate inventory control with weekly cycle counts and stocktakes.
- Manage end to end receipt, pick, pack and despatch functions.
- Liaise directly with the buying and allocation team and retail stores as required.
- Liaise with transport companies, freight forwarders to enable efficient movement of goods.
- Ensure team members are performing daily processes and procedures accurately.
- Recruit, train, lead, and engage the team by providing structured feedback and coaching to develop people with a clear vision and goals.
- Organise and plan available resources and manage shifts to deal with expected workloads.
- Weekly report and communication to the managing director, buying and allocation team including information regarding stock, logistics, orders, issues, opportunities for improvements, and action plans.

**Skills and Experience**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager, dealing with the daily operation of a fast-paced environment, and management of team leaders and their teams.
- Well-developed interpersonal and great communication and listening skills, with a resilient, hands on and confident profile interacting and motivating people.
- Previous experience with inventory control, logistics and safety are essential.
- Highly organised with good prioritisation and time management skills.
- Strategic and logical intelligence, delivering people, safety, and inventory reports and audits.
- Knowledge of computerised systems is essential.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday and occasional weekends, when necessary to meet business requirements.
- Hold a current driver and forklift licence would be essential.
- Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, push & pull, some heavy lifting, and stand for extended periods of time.
