**About the role**

We are seeking a **fully registered Speech Pathologist **to work with children and adolescents on a **part-time** or **full-time **basis.

As a Speech Pathologist you will primarily be** **responsible for:

- Planning, delivery and evaluation of discipline-specific clinical services across the local area, including school, community programs and home visits
- Prepare assessment report writing for individual clients
- Work individually with the client to deliver a safe and individual program, in a home-based setting
- Supervising Junior Speech Pathologists (training provided/reimbursed)

Your contribution to a professional, positive and ethical work environment will be essential to help continually improve the practice’s processes and procedures.

**About you**
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
- Current Driver’s License and access to a car
- Police check (or prepared to obtain)
- Working with children check (or prepared to obtain)
- A commitment to high-quality, safe and person-centred care
- Good interpersonal skills and a team spirit
- Ability to show empathy to clients who are struggling, physically and emotionally
- Ability to encourage client participation with tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to motivate and overcome the client’s resistance to participating in a program
- Experience within the Disability Sector would be highly desirable
