Within our Industrial & Waste Services division we provide total waste management business solutions to our customers including industrial cleaning services such as non-destructive digging, concrete demolition, high pressure water blasting, vacuum loading, shutdown services, pipe, drain and tank cleaning, emergency spills response and CCTV. We have an opportunity for a Service Manager to join our team based in one of our key locations in Perth.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the National Maintenance Services Manager you will be required to:

- Lead the front-line maintenance team in delivering end to end maintenance activities across multiple locations for a fleet of over 500 assets
- Consistently deliver the highest levels of customer service to internal stakeholders, both personally and through your teams’ interactions with the wider business community
- Implement strategies to maximise asset up-time to ensure high levels of availability for the operational service delivery teams.
- Manage internal and external resources to ensure the fleet of heavy vehicles, light vehicles and yellow gear is safe and compliant through best-in-class maintenance scheduling, timely repairs, and quality workmanship.
- Develop and implement an audit and review program to assess third party and workshop facilities for compliance to standard maintenance regimes, practices, and processes.
- Monitor workshop KPIs to drive ongoing cost reduction whilst maintaining compliance to safety, business standards and legislative requirements.
- Manage a portfolio of high profile, business critical repairs requiring both detailed technical skills and high levels of stakeholder engagement.
- Provide training and coaching with focus on continuous improvement to new and existing team members.

**Your skills and experience**

To have success in the role you will have:

- Significant experience in a similar role/s demonstrating achievements in operational, technical, and commercial aspects of fleet management.
- Fleet management and maintenance experience across a large and technically diverse asset portfolio
- Ability to demonstrate experience working across multiple regions and sites.
- Demonstrated experience in workshop management across multiple locations.
- Demonstrated expertise in customer facing roles
- Knowledge of logistics and maintenance systems
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional skills in Microsoft word, excel and teams.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Industrial Services (or similar) equipment.
- Qualifications in a mechanical based trade
