We design, manufacture and install modular buildings for education, affordable housing, mining, custodial and commercial sectors across all mainland Australian states. Our recreational vehicle work includes servicing as well as manufacture and distribute leading products. We work as One Fleetwood across our group of companies, including Building Solutions, Community Solutions and RV Solutions.

**About the role**:
This position works collaboratively with our departments to provide support, advice and guidance to managers and employees of the business. The role will also support the Group HR Manager and team members to embed HR strategies across the business to create an inspiring workplace that engages and retains high quality people, whilst ensuring business processes, systems and procedures are implemented and maintained.

**The key responsibilities of the role are**:

- Providing guidance and support to managers in respect of complex HR issues.
- Interpreting and providing guidance on EBAs, Awards, employment contracts and conditions of employment.
- Providing ER and IR advice and support.
- Working with managers to ensure all employees receive performance reviews, including period progress/probation reviews.
- Coaching, advising and guiding managers on performance management ensuring legal compliance.
- Undertaking investigations in relation to grievances and formal complaints.
- Providing guidance to management and staff on company policies.
- Providing best practice advice on change management and consultation.
- Creating a highly engaging and communicative experience for new starters through a formal onboarding program.
- Assisting in the implementation and improvement of Diversity & Inclusion initiatives in line with the business objectives.
- Assisting the L&D Business Partner in related L&D activities.
- Ensuring all position descriptions are up to date and developing new PDs for roles.
- Assisting with HR aspects of the payroll process.
- Providing coaching, advice and guidance to managers to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
- Assisting in the development and continuous improvement of the group Succession Planning model.
- Providing key administrative support to ensure HR processes are effectively and efficiently executed.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources; Industrial Relations; Business; Management or a related discipline (preferred but not essential).
- 2-3 + years’ experience in a similar position in construction or manufacturing industry (or similar industry).
- Proven ability to partner and influence with a wide range of stakeholders, coupled with commercial acumen to deliver business results.
- The ability to guide leaders through change initiatives and change programs including performance, reward, diversity, resource planning and retention.
- Strong communication skills to proactively communicate changes in law and regulation, company policies and procedures, competitor intelligence and contemporary talent management strategies and best practice HR.
- Proactive, professional with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritise and multi-task.
- An understanding of and complete commitment to confidentiality.
- Able to show initiative within a team environment
