News Corp Australia is seeking an experienced Design Leader with a solid background in digital design to lead a team of designers in creating unique visual design concepts for our clients across the News, Food, Fashion, Tech, Sport, and Lifestyle industries. Working with some of Australia's most recognised and prestigious media brands, you will collaborate with other teams from around the business to create innovative content for our clients.

With demonstrated experience in leading and crafting work for recognised brands, you will be technically minded with a high-level of attention to detail, and a passion for setting and maintaining high creative standards from concept development through to campaign delivery.

**Who are you?**
- 5+ years experience in a digital design leadership role (agency experience highly regarded).
- Strong leadership skills to mentor and develop Junior, Mid-weight and Senior Designers.
- Demonstrated operational excellence with an ability to maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and work as a part of our leadership team to develop team direction and strategy.
- Highly proficient in Sketch and Adobe Creative Cloud, with exceptional UI design skills and a comprehensive understanding of UX principles and digital best practices.
- Familiarity with Design System thinking, and a willingness to work within and contribute to our overarching Design System.
- Strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of how to achieve business objectives whilst also championing a high standard of creative quality.
- Confident in providing art direction and effectively communicating design critique.
- Ability to operate quickly and calmly within a large, complex, dynamic environment, while setting and maintaining key priorities.
- Excellent verbal / written skills, with the ability to present ideas and articulate design rationale effectively.
