**The Role**

This role is offering you an opportunity to establish yourself with an established brand with strategic growth plans and permanent work. In this technical role, your key responsibilities will include:

- Performing specialist jacking work during slew bearing changes, track frame removal & replacement and other maintenance work for our client's hydraulic excavators and shovels;
- Carrying out all work using the appropriate control guidelines to ensure the planned outcome is achieved and delivered in the required timeframe;
- Providing continuous improvement recommendations within the business and to our clients;
- Delivering strong customer service to our valued clients;
- Local and interstate travel regularly for periods up to 7 - 10 days, occasionally longer when conducting our specialist jacking work with associated shutdown support.

**About You**
- Trade Qualification in any of the following disciplines - Diesel Fitter, Fitter Machinist, Plant Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Boilermaker or Auto Electrician
- Previous experience working with excavators / shovels and on mine sites will be highly regarded
- High regard for workplace health and safety
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Basic computer literacy and well-developed communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and within strict time frames
- Current valid driver's licence
