The Team
The position of Policy Advisor, Policy and Research forms a part of the Aboriginal Economic Development Group. This Group works across all business units in their approach to engagement with the Aboriginal community to embed the guiding principles of self-determination contained in the Victorian Aboriginal Affairs Framework 2018-2023.
The Role
The Policy Advisor, Policy and Research based in the Aboriginal Economic Development Group will be responsible for providing authoritative policy advice based on robust research to strengthen Aboriginal economic development and industry engagement. The position will support the implementation of the Yuma Yirramboi Strategy, identifying economic development opportunities with a range of Aboriginal interest groups, government stakeholders and key industry groups. The position will support strategic and policy advice development for the Department to harness the State's levers to drive economic development, participation and prosperity for the Victorian Aboriginal community.
