**Position Information**:
Tempe High School, located in the inner west of Sydney has an enrolment of 1016 students. 64% of students are from non-English speaking background and 3% identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. The school is a proud comprehensive, partially selective high school that is highly valued by our engaged and committed community. The school is strongly supported by an active and engaged P&C.

Evidence of outstanding interpersonal skills, strong communication practices and the ability to build and foster partnerships and opportunities across the school and educational community to advocate for and inspire confidence in public education.

Proven success developing, leading and evaluating student wellbeing programs and practices to advocate for, support and engage a diverse student community in an inclusive learning culture that supports all students to reach their potential.

High level strategic analysis and planning capabilities and problem solving skills with the demonstrated ability to develop, lead and evaluate innovative school programs in the pursuit of ongoing school improvement.

2. Ability to lead and manage rigorous and inclusive whole school teaching and learning programs

4. Ability to lead and manage the development and performance of staff to improve teaching and learning

5. Ability to plan systems and manage resources effectively and equitably to enhance teaching and learning

6. Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's Aboriginal education policies and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
