**Product Owner BX Strategy & Innovation and PO Chapter lead**

**Business Banking (BB) manages relationships with Commonwealth Bank’s small-medium enterprise customers, mid-market corporate customers, and regional and agribusiness customers, providing a wide range of financial services and solutions.

Business Lending (BL) offers working capital, business loans, asset finance, corporate finance, and property finance to our customers. BL is directly responsible for product management, process management, technology, portfolio and pricing management and arrears and financial difficulty management as well as Line 1 risk and controls.

The Automated Credit and Guarantees crew, including the Credit Risk Strategy (CRS) team are accountable for automating and digitising business lending so we can deliver faster and seamless credit to our business lending customers. With a customer obsession to delight our customers we aim to leverage data and technology to provide faster decisions and funds to our customers. BizExpress (BX) is the origination platform used for online and assisted pathways for simple credit solutions. It is integral in delivering automated credit to our customers and the objective is to innovate and expand BX to ensure we are supporting more customers with certainty and speed in their credit decisions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and develop the BizExpress value proposition and roadmap, and manage the delivery of the product roadmap.
- Address roadblocks,g impediments, and dependencies driving decisions and resolving escalations.
- Ensure the squad is customer obsessed to ensure all initiatives deliver exceptional customer experiences and deliver the outcomes
- Create aexceptional team and culture across the squad and Product Owner community and chapter.
- Influence and drive outcomes through the engagement and collaboration with senior stakeholders/business units (Business and Technology)
- Release prototypes and iterate a product that meets customer needs and achieves the Crew’s goals.
- Lead a team of product owners as a chapter lead.
- Provide coaching, constructive feedback and mentoring for our people
- Maintain a well prioritised backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes.
- Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed to.
- Manage the Squad’s performance against defined objectives including OKR tracking, etc.
- Own and manage pricing, financials, licensing, Return On Investment and/or supplier relationships.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Have proven Product Owner experience, ideally within lending or business banking.
- A technical background and/or good technical understanding.
- A passion for delivering great outcomes for our customers.
- Experience leading multi-functional teams.
- Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong risk management mindset.
- Ability to get into detailed solution design and technical content, as well as big picture strategic thinking.
- Thrives in a fast pace environment.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Tenacity, resilience, ability to deal with multiple changing priorities.
- Experience liaising with a range of stakeholders from senior management to technical developer teams.
- Highly analytical skills with a strong commercial acumen.
