**The Role**
The Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems (EWIS) branch operates in the Electronic Warfare domain within CASG. EWIS Land Systems Program Office (SPO) is responsible for the delivery of an integrated and complex system that provides joint capability of protection, support and attack technologies to defend and protect Defence Force personnel.

As the APS 6 Project Support for Export Controls, you will be part of a collaborative team that provides governance, control management and export advice in order to enable the delivery of a range of sensitive leading edge capabilities. This role requires knowledge of, or ability to gain knowledge of, the United States International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations, Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA), End User Undertakings and the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) process.

You will have a track record of working with or around Export Controls and be motivated to ensure complex projects adhere to compliance and legislative frameworks. You will add your experience to the dedicated team of professionals that deliver critical technologies that assist in the protection of Australia and its interests.

**About our Team**
Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems Branch (EWIS) in Joint Systems Division (JSD), acquires, sustains and integrates Intelligence and Electronic Warfare capabilities into a wide variety of air, land and sea based platforms and systems. We have a high performing culture and are faced with complex challenges in our role to defend Australia and its interests.

The EWIS Land Systems Program Office (Land SPO) is comprised of members from various geographic locations and disciplinary backgrounds and who have diverse skills to work together to deliver and support capabilities to the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and external Government agencies. This includes Force Protection Electronic Countermeasures (FPECM), Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Robots, Deliberate Route Clearance as well as Tactical Electronic Warfare systems (TacEW). You will be relied upon to research; draft briefs, correspondence and reports; and resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.

You will need to operate independently yet collaboratively within a team and engage effectively with stakeholders to understand their expectations and concerns to achieve overarching strategic outcomes for the Department of Defence.
- Scheduling export control outputs to meet deliverables.
- Developing, maintaining and implementing Technology Control Plans (TCP).
- Managing US Controlled or International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.
- Foreign Military Sales (FMS) technology management.
- Providing advice on technology control planning.
- Producing memorandum of understandings (MOU), Confidentiality Deed Poll and non-Disclosure Agreements.
- U.S. Trade Agreement Act Management.
- Managing domestic technology controls, including safeguarding sensitive information.
