Contract role - government agency - Infrastructure & Cloud Specialist

**Your new company**

This government agency is looking for an Infrastructure & Cloud Specialist to join their Infrastructure team in a contract role. You will have the opportunity of working at a government agency located in Sydney CBD.

**Your new role**

As an Infrastructure and Cloud Specialist, you will join the Infrastructure & Integration team to assist with improving and implementing the agency’s IT infrastructure. Your work will involve multiple projects aimed at enhancing their Infrastructure and Cyber Security program. You’ll collaborate closely with other IT operations staff, project teams, and vendors. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that changes to the agency’s infrastructure environment adhere to relevant security and industry standards, align with their strategies and policies, and are consistently and effectively implemented.

**What you'll need to succeed**

As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will be required to possess the following skills and experience:

- A solid background in Infrastructure within Windows environments, along with hands-on experience in Azure as a cloud platform and Palo Alto.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, ADFS, PowerShell, and Virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere 6.x).
- Familiarity with IAM/PAM solutions.
- Work experience in implementing and deploying infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
