**Occupational Health Nurse**:
We are looking for an **Occupational Health Nurse** to be an integral member of a highly capable and friendly **EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) team.**

Your key objective will be to partner with EHS and business objectives to deliver a comprehensive Health, Injury Management and Rehabilitation service across Baxter ANZ sites. This will include the development and implementation of relevant policies and programs, along with coordinating various health promotion and well-being initiatives. You will also be required to support and administer the Australian Health Centre operation including first aid support for manufacturing and other business units.

This is a hands-on role for you to utilize your nursing or similar skills coupled with commercial experience in Injury Management and Workers Compensation Case Management to support the EHS Team to deliver other corporate wellness programs.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Implement and Co-ordinate Rehabilitation (Return to Work etc.) programs in regard to employees who have been identified as being unable to perform their normal job roles due to injury or illness whether this is a work related or personal injury or illness
- Administration of employee medical data and recording of workers’ compensation claims to meet medical and insurance companies’ requirements. Conduct and review health screening (including pre-employment reports) to ensure employees are medically fit for their duties
- In consultation with your Manager provide general operations training support as required regarding safe ergonomics and manual handling practices
- Organising and managing health and wellbeing programs including annual flu vaccinations, other corporate health programs for Australian sites in consultation with the EHS Manager,train and supervise additional temp help or other resources, when necessary, to assist with medical, health and rehabilitation requests
- Maintain knowledge of current Occupational Health practices via seminars, journals and network to ensure best quality programs are implemented

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**
- Qualified in an occupational health related discipline (Registered nurse Aust. Qualification desiarable)
- Experienced in Return to Work (RTW) Co-ordination, Workers Compensation
- PC literacy with at least Med level Word, Excel, Database and Notes

**Desirable Skills and Qualifications**
- Strong interpersonal skills geared toward effective negotiation, presentation and communication
- Ability to be autonomous while working effectively in a team setting
- Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn and take on new ideas
- Highly Organised and Flexible
