**About the role - Max Term Contract - Part-Time (0.8 FTE) - 13 February -31 December 2024 (Maternity Leave Position)**

As our Team Leader, Flexible Learning Options, you will supervise and mentor a team of FLO Case Managers, as well as support a caseload of students on their learning pathway through education. The team provides an outreach program for young people aged 15-17 who are disengaging from education. Implementing the Baptist Care SA Tapa Marnini Apanthi Framework, you’ll ensure that your team deliver exceptional outcomes for vulnerable young people across Adelaide.

Your duties include but not limited to:

- Ensure high quality service delivery that is client focused, effective, safe, culturally appropriate and meets all legislative and contract requirements.
- Manage staffing levels, referral processes and allocation of caseload
- Develop and maintain relationships with other agencies, networks, and other community stakeholders, such as, the Department for Education to assist with the development of services
- Support Program Manager to manage risk in the day-to-day service operations and delivery
- Ability to be flexible and at times manage a case load depending on funding and program requirements

You will also have the following skills and experience:

- VET Qualifications Diploma of Youth Work or Youth Justice
- Tertiary Qualifications relevant to the work i.e., Bachelor of Social Work, or Bachelor of Psychology
- Awareness of the Flexible Learning Options Program and Department for Education processes, including policies and procedures
- Evidence of case management and leadership of more than 2 years
- Evidence of experience of minimum 2 years of working with young people in a learning environment

- Full unrestricted South Australia Driver’s Licence
- DHS Child-Related Employment Screening or Working With Children check
- National Police Clearance
- Training: Provide First Aid (min HLTAID012)
- Training: RAHAN EC and KSCP
- Training: Safe Environments for Children and Young People
- Ability to work outside of normal office hours may be required
- Use of own vehicle
