**About the role**
Due to internal growth in the team it is now an exciting time to join the IT team at Grampians Health. Reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager the Service Desk Operator will provide excellent customer service to support the software, hardware, and network across the Grampians Health Service.
Utilising your troubleshoot skills you will analyse, triage, and manage incoming I.T requests received by phone, ticket system or face to face and accurately input and update information in the ITSM tool for data reporting.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Working as part of the service team to provide remote and face to face service
- Supporting desktop and networking infrastructure
- Documenting new processes and technical solutions as required
- Champion with your peers a positive work environment
- High level of organisation, multitasking, and communication skills
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
**Skills and experience**
- Previous experience in ICT Service Desk / support or similar role.
- Formal qualifications in ICT or commitment to working towards the same would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in a desktop support role in a medium to large organisation would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively autonomously with mínimal supervision as well as part of a team
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to enable effective identification and resolution of IT related issues
