**The Opportunity**

We have an opportunity for a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to be part of our South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI) and Major Programs Division within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions. The role sits within the Recovery and Resilience team, which is responsible for the development and implementation of a range of policies, agreements and programs to support primary producers and communities to recover from and build resilience to adverse events, including natural disasters, drought, climate change and biosecurity outbreaks.

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer is responsible for
- coordinating and undertaking the planning and delivery of project monitoring, evaluation, and reporting functions for programs and projects;
- providing advice to project teams in relation to reporting design, and implementation of monitoring and evaluation approaches; and
- designing and implementing services that clearly demonstrate the impact of resilience and recovery programs for primary production sectors.

To achieve these outcomes the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer builds collaborative working relationships and partnerships with industry, stakeholders, research organisations and regional communities.

**Requirements**:

- Possession of a current Driver’s Licence and a willingness to drive.
- Out of hours work and inter/intrastate travel may be required.
- You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our expectations.

The incumbent will be required to undertake emergency management training and must be willing to participate in emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities required by government agencies.

ASO5 $83,273 - $92,614 per annum
