Security & Event Manager

Assist the Event Operations Manager in the day-to-day and event requirements for the Event Operations department - including FOH coordination and delivery of Ushering / Cloaking / Help Desk / Reception Services, Event and Asset/Event Security, Car Park, Ticketing, Traffic Management, along with the functionality and reliable operation of all associated equipment

**About Role**
- Assist the Event Operations Manager to ensure the venue operates within agreed budget parameters
- Coordinate and manage the deployment of external contractors at events, including Event Security, and WA Police (as required)
- Sound knowledge of physical security, including access control, CCTV, radio communications, FIP/EWIS and other security-related products
- Have effective communication across all levels, both written and verbal
- Develop effective relationships with team members, including other departments, to achieve RAC Arena’s goals and objectives

**About You**
- Have 3-5 years of previous experience in a similar role or within a similar venue environment
- Diversified career background in the event and/or security industry
- Strong knowledge of State Legislation concerning the Security Industry, Liquor Industry, Civil Liability
- Possess strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency
- Have leadership capabilities to empower, motivate and engage staff
