**About the role**:
Pine Rivers Private Hospital are seeking a Consulting Suites Billing Officer to join our team on a part-time basis, 5 day fortnight. No weekend work required.

**As a Billing Officer your responsibilities will include**:

- Accurate and timely billing of Health Fund and Third Party invoices
- Field patient billing enquiries and provide resolution
- Banking and Debtor Management
- Maintain extensive knowledge of Health Fund contracts
- Provide Support to our Visting Medical Officers
- Provide support to administration team

Located on the bank of the South Pine River, our 70 bed mental health facility provides comprehensive inpatient and day programs for our Queensland community. As a leading provider, we specialise in addiction, bipolar and depressive disorders, mood disorders, OCD, PTSD and complex PTSD management, psychosis and chronic pain management. We also deliver specialised therapies in EMDR, TMS and ECT.

- Worked in debt collection / accounts receivable
- Worked in Healthcare industry (desirable)

- Involved in quality and performance improvement initiatives
- Participated in the implementation of change

**Knowledge to be successful in this position**:

knowledge and eligibility interpretation including billing and claiming processes (desirable)
- Accreditation and quality processes (desirable)
- Data and information management including privacy and confidentiality legislation for patients
and staff (desirable)
- Customer Service principles

**Qualifications to be successful in this position**:

- TAFE/ Certificate - Diploma level qualification in Administration, Accounting or related discipline
