Are you an experienced billing professional looking for a dynamic opportunity within the engineering industry? We have an exciting four-month contract role open for a Billing Officer. As the Billing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring smooth invoicing processes and seamless project coordination.

**Responsibilities**:
**Billing and Invoicing**: Accurately generating and raising invoices for project managers across multiple projects. With a diverse portfolio of projects, you will be an essential link in ensuring timely and precise billing;
**Project Manager Support**: Collaborating with project managers, to ensure billing requirements for their respective projects;
**Debt Collection**: Managing debt collection with a gentle approach, encouraging clients to fulfill their obligations. Your excellent communication skills will help maintain positive client relationships while ensuring timely payment;
**Inbox Management**: Overseeing one main inbox to efficiently manage communication related to billing and invoicing;
**Project Cost Adjustments**: Assisting with adjustments for employees shifting their time from one project to another; and

**Reporting**: Provide accurate and detailed reporting for multiple projects.

**Requirements**:
**Billing Experience**: Proven experience in billing and invoicing, preferably within a project-based environment;
**Financial Acumen**: Solid understanding of financial processes, including debt collection;
**Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with project managers and clients;
**Organisational Skills**: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and invoices efficiently;
**Attention to Detail**: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in invoicing and adjustments; and

**Software Proficiency**: Familiarity with accounting software, Excel and MS Office Suite.
