This survey firm are based in the Western suburbs and are looking for an experienced Surveyor to join their team. This is a large and reputable organisation that has an impressive workforce providing a range of services with both interstate and international offices. However, this office has 10 Surveyors, meaning that they have a very close-knit team which makes the work environment more personal and casual as opposed to your typical corporate business.

The projects consist of residential subdivisions and their linear projects (ie. TMR, state government, etc) as well as other cadastral and construction works throughout Brisbane. This firm has close ties with USQ, CSN and SBQ - as a result of these relationships, they have great intel as to what is expected when it comes to the competency tests, portfolio content and registration process.

**The Job**
- Competent with performing fieldwork for most survey functions, including contour and detail surveys, all estate surveys, building set outs and basic cadastral surveys.
- Performs survey tasks in an efficient and timely manner and achieves precise results.
- Demonstrates a commitment to and understanding of the Quality Assurance system, including independent checks, following standard procedures, reporting and acting on errors as well as keeping good records.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly with Surveyors, Survey Assistants and other relevant staff and to report effectively to project supervisors and/or directly to clients.

**The requirements**
- Current registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as an Associate Surveyor, Graduate and looking to progress to Surveyor registration.
- A minimum of 2+ years’ recent experience in a surveying role covering a range of projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects. Experience in the ability to also manage clients and lead and mentor staff will be highly regarded.
- Excellent time management as well as Good technical and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Trimble instruments & 12D would be highly regarded.
- QLD manual driver’s licence.
