Reporting to the CEO and as a key member of the team, this role will have full responsibility for asset maintenance and replacement, IT management including owning the relationship with the external provider, management and regular review of company systems and processes. Ideally, the position holder will have a thorough understanding of current issues in health and aged care, however, other similar industry experience will also be viewed favourably including facilities management or hospitality.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Business and/or significant experience in a similar role
- Demonstrable experience in business management including systems and processes design
- Experience in contract management and procurement
- Well-developed commercial acumen
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Ability to identify relevant information and help transform this information into individual and organisational knowledge and learning
- Self-starter and team player

**Expected outcomes and responsibilities**:

- Develop and promote an effective continuous improvement culture throughout the residences which focuses on Quality, Compliance and Risk Management;
- Develop, plan, monitor and advise on a range of projects in relation to property services and systems;
- Build and maintain relationships with external contractors to deliver asset and property services;
- Provide appropriate services and support to managers and staff at all levels in matters relating to Continuous Improvement;
- Develop reporting mechanisms to the CEO;
- Maintain knowledge of the organisation’s responsibilities under the Aged Care Act 1997, including the Quality of Care Principles, residents’ rights and accreditation requirements;
- Support the CEO in the management of services provided to support and manage residences and consulting services in the areas of property services and systems;
- Evaluation of contractors’ effectiveness in service delivery;
- Maintain and manage the relationship with the external IT provider to ensure smooth delivery of IT services; and
- Troubleshooting complex day-to-day IT issues with the external IT provider.
