A Senior Associate/ Executive position has arisen in Macquarie’s Group Treasury division.

You will be directly exposed to Macquarie's senior management, in a non-hierarchical, merit-based environment and will work closely with other areas of Group Treasury and the Financial Management Group. In this varied role, you will also work with business units to understand the impact of on-going prudential regulatory change, as well as providing your expertise within the area of capital analytics.

In this role your technical skills and qualifications will include:

- A relevant academic background in a financial or quantitative degree, e.g. actuarial, accounting, economics, engineering, mathematics
- Strong numerical and analytical skills coupled with an ability to understand and succinctly explain complex data
- Experience with PowerBI and Alteryx (or similar) will be viewed favourably
- Clear & concise written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage with all levels of management including non-technical stakeholders

In this role your key responsibilities will include:

- Active involvement in regulatory capital projects, in particular implementation of regulatory change and capital transformation across Macquarie
- Calculating and analysing the impact of new regulations or transactions
- Analysis and understanding of complex capital data, and producing actionable insights to support the capital management strategy and decision making at the senior management levels
- Having an eye for detail with the ability and curiosity to investigate when required
- Showcasing commercial acumen and an ability to ‘see the bigger picture’
- Working in a dynamic, diverse environment and adapting to change
