- Extensive experience in an operational human factors role, preferably in the healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated specialised research knowledge, expertise and skill in human factors and systems engineering, including advanced skills and experience with the following:

- Planning for, and management of, human factors activities across the project lifecycle
- Human factors methods including but not limited to: task analysis, communication analysis, ethnography, iterative design, usability trials.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including a track record of peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and technical reports/briefs for organisational leaders.
- Proven ability to lead and develop individuals and teams, provide direction and feedback to others, and to motivate, influence and engage others in the achievement of goals.
- Demonstrated ability to consult and communicate with staff at all levels, and to work collaboratively with health professionals, researchers, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
