About the Role
- Provide high level human resources management and support across the whole organisation, in this highly respected and valued position. This role reports directly to the CEO, and under their guidance and direction will be trusted to provide confidential advice and support relating to key people and culture matters. As the Human Resources Manager you will have direct responsibility for a team of four, including Human Resources Advisors and Human Resources Officers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, monitoring, and review of HR strategy, plans, and policies
- Provide high level support and advice to the CEO and management in relation to statutory and Award requirements, and contemporary HR practices
- Support staff grievances and complaints processes as required
- Oversee the performance of key activities relating to the employee lifecycle including attraction, onboarding, development, retention, and separation
- Collect, analyse, and report on key HR metrics for the organisation
Skills, Experience & Attributes required
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources Management or a related discipline
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills which allow you to build relationships with a wide variety of people across the business
- Leadership experience would be beneficial, with demonstrated capabilities in coaching, developing, and performance management
- High degree of emotional intelligence and maturity
- Connection to the organisational values and a genuine interest in working in the not for profit sector
