About the role
Eastern Health Finance Department provides Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Patient Revenue, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable services to the organisation. These services are underpinned by various Finance Computer systems. The Associate Director Finance Systems provides leadership and direction to the Finance Systems Support teams. This role plays a key role in Finance's digital transformation program.
About you
**To be successful in this role you will possess**:
Relevant tertiary qualification in commerce, business, accounting, or information systems or relevant degree
Demonstrated experience in leading teams
A technical, logical thought process for problem solving
Advanced knowledge of Accounting and Budgeting principles and practices.
Advanced knowledge of Finance and Supply chain functional and system processes
Highly developed written and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
Demonstrated ability to manage and perform system upgrades
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the development and administration of system integrations
Demonstrated experience and advanced computer skills in a Windows environment
Ability to adapt communication style to non-technical system users through to IT specialists
Experience in change management
