**Administrative Assistant**
**ABOUT THE ROLE:
**Summary of the role**:
- fixed term part time employment end date July 19 2023 - 64 hours per fortnight (includes weekends and public holidays)
- Mercy Palliative Care, Administration, working across Sunshine and Werribee offices
- To be an integral part of the Administrative team, contributing to the provision of high quality care for patients and families of the Mercy Palliative Care Program in the community
- Being part of a multi-disciplinary team which requires you to provide highly responsive and flexible service to consumers and carers
**ABOUT Y**
**OU:
**- Experienced and well developed administrative and office skills - is a must, preferably in a health setting
- MS office skills - advanced in the use of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent customer service skills and accurate data entry
- Well developed telephone etiquette with demonstrated techniques
- Motivated, flexible, extremely reliable, with ability to work at short notice
**ABOUT US**:
- Mercy Palliative Care is a community palliative care service operating in the Western region of Melbourne and provides a holistic multidisciplinary approach to palliative care. We provide psychological and spiritual support, caring for people of all ages with life-limiting illnesses in their homes as well as complex symptom management. We currently care for over 500 patients across the region in their own homes.
