**Hoban Recruitment** are sourcing an experienced **APS 5 Level Workforce Procurement & Contracts Officer **to join our client who are a federal agency.
- Attractive hourly rate of **$55.24** per hour including casual loading plus **11% superannuation**.
- Located in **Braddon ACT** and commencing ASAP.
- ASAP start date for an initial **12-month** assignment plus possibility of an extension, pending business requirements.
- 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday.

**About the role**

The APS5 Procurement (Labour Hire) is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. The position will provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation.

The position is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex research, analysis and advice work. Legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents guide the position as it provides procurement advice.

**Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to**:

- Providing level administrative support to the Procurement team, managing confidential and sensitive information.
- Providing procurement advice and support to the broader Agency.
- Delivering support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Guidelines, Procurement Policy and procedures.
- Assisting with tracking value for money based outcomes and preparing reports against KPIs.
- Preparing a range of procurement related documentation.
- Entering, extracting and manipulating data to enable accurate Agency reporting.
- Contributing to team and branch planning activities including identifying opportunities for improvements..

**About you**
- Strong Stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Intermediate understanding of the MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated experience managing high volume requests and ability to multitask.
- Ability to remain composed in a changing, faced-paced environment.
- Previous experience using HR and/or Finance business systems.
- Understanding of procurement or recruitment processes.
- You MUST be an **Australian Citizen **for this role.
- You must be able to pass a National Police and Working With Children Check.
