**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Women & Girls Participation Manager, this Sydney based role will work closely with Football Australia's Community Team, Legacy Team and Member Federations to plan and deliver on female participation initiatives including but not limited to: Sporting Schools, MiniRoos, Game Plan: Club Development Program and Our Game.

The role predominately focuses on Principle IV, VII, IX and X and is based in the area of Participation.

Please note that this role is fixed term until December 2024.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- To support the Women & Girls Participation Manager in sourcing opportunities in events, media and storytelling that showcase women and girls participation in football
- Build effective working relationships with local stakeholders to overcome barriers of female participation, retention and satisfaction
- To support the football network in effective planning and activation of Female Football Week
- Support the planning and delivery of workshops, forums, seminars and experiences for women and girls' participation strategies, with specific reference to Game Plan One Star award scheme
- To support event activation and fan engagement experiences for women and girls in national team matches, FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023 TM and other major calendar events
- Ensure all executed Women & Girls projects both within Football Australia and Member Federations have undergone a thorough review and evaluation process

**ABOUT YOU**

**Experience, Skills and Qualifications**:

- A minimum 1-2 years’ experience in sport management or football

coaching/administration role
- Completed tertiary qualifications in sport management or a related area of study
- Demonstrative knowledge and experience in football, with particular emphasis on women and girls participation programs or initiatives
- Community coaching or football coaching accreditations are highly desirable
- Experience in an administration role and advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office software
- Sound interpersonal skills with an ability to develop relationships
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Demonstrated experience working/volunteering within sporting clubs/organisations
- High attention to detail and a proven ability to prioritise work commitments and meet deadlines

**Additional Requirements**:

- Full working rights in Australia
- Working with children check (paid/ employee) or state
- based equivalent
- Out of hours and weekend work as required
- This role would be suited to a graduate that has a passion for Women & Girls Football in the Community space
