**THE ROLE**

We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Communications and Stakeholder specialist for an immediate start. This role will work across an iconic large scale infrastructure project. This role is responsible for minimizing the impact of community relations issues on projects, through the proactive management and co-ordination of internal and external stakeholder relationships.

**THE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Developing and implementing a regular program of stakeholder contacts/liaison meetings to build a perception of trust, honesty, and reliability through action.
- Developing a systematic and user-friendly complaints handling procedure, which effectively deals with complaints and keeps all stakeholders informed on progress.
- Ensure key messages and information are conveyed to the community and other stakeholders positively and effectively.
- Consult with the Project team to identify and anticipate community concerns and to understand the priorities and requirements of the Project team.
- Identifying target audiences, analyzing needs and issues, and developing tailored message content developing appropriate communication tools (e.g., presentation material, press releases, letters) to convey Winslow and client key messages honestly and in the most effective way for the target audience(s).
- Preparing and maintaining accurate records on community relations issues and reporting key findings/status/trends monthly.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Communications, Marketing or Public Relations experience
- Knowledge of Australian Civil Construction Industry and its key stakeholders
- Professional success and experience in driving key messaging across a range of groups
- Tertiary qualifications in journalism, communications or media (preferable).
