Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) operates three of Adelaide’s most iconic and commercially successful event venues - Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC) and Coopers Stadium. In addition, AVM is the proud presenting partner of concerts and functions at The Drive.

A fantastic opportunity has now become available for a WHS Coordinator to join our People team for a maternity leave cover. This is an ideal position for a recent graduate or a skilled administrator looking to begin or develop their skills within the people function.

This position requires a driven and engaging individual to work collaboratively in coordinating the delivery of the Corporation’s WHS programs to maintain legislative compliance and reinforce strategic business goals and desired AVM values and behaviours. Maintain systems for the control of documentation and data relating to WHS management.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Maintenance and continuous improvement of the WHS management system to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Continuously improve and maintain appropriate WHS documentation and controls.
- Assist with the investigation of incidents and hazard management and ensure they are completed to the required standard and within acceptable timelines.
- In consultation with the WHS Strategic Advisor, develop and implement appropriate remedial actions arising from investigations.
- Assist the WHS Strategic Advisor in driving the WHS Risk Management process across the Corporation and provide key stakeholders with assistance and advice as required.
- Coordinate and conduct regular work site inspections of all AVM operational venues and ensure the work site inspections are recorded appropriately using the WHS management system.
- Assist WHS-related committees with policy and systems development and ensure that all policies and systems are effectively implemented and maintained.
- Monitor the Contractor Management System (Rapid) to ensure that it meets the needs of the business.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills

- A proactive ‘can do’ attitude with a flexible, innovative and solutions-focused approach to your work.
- An ability to communicate and interact positively at all levels, including dealing professionally with clients, contractors, and staff from a broad range of cultural backgrounds and educational levels.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel
- Experience with Skytrust (Incident Management System) and Rapid (Contractor Management System) or a strong desire to learn will be highly regarded.
- A keen interest in WHS Management
