**What does the role involve?**
Reporting to General Manager - Corporate Development and Treasury, your primary focus is to manage the financial risks of the Australian Postal Corporation, including:

- Daily cash and liquidity management of the Group including the daily dealing and interacting with the Treasury Risk Manager, Middle Office, and Back Office to understand variance from forecasts
- Support the engagement with the Procurement and Capital functions to gather and obtain required information for the assessment, complete analysis, and implement risk management strategies
- Tactical execution of the financial risk management strategies of the Group, including dealing with banks, system recording, hedge accounting, and tracking the performance of portfolios against market
- Maintenance of key Treasury risk and market data models (incl. FX, Commodity, and AASB 16 Incremental Borrowing Rates) as well as data feeds and rules for GTreasury cash flow forecast
- Complete month-end analysis for all hedge programs including preparation of _ALCO_ and month-end materials.
- Assist in the development of treasury risk management strategies in line with the Group Treasury Policy and Annual Treasury Strategy including working with portfolio models covering exposures for foreign currency and commodities, performing market research to help formulate a forward market view
- Manage liquidity and funding, foreign currency, interest rate, and commodity risk exposures

**What are we looking for?**
- Member of the Australian Corporate Treasury Association (ACTA)
- Capability to understand and use various critical systems including GTreasury treasury management system, TM1, SAP, Refinitiv Eikon, and S&P CapIQ
- Ability to challenge the status quo and/or suggested strategies to help the organisation drive towards appropriate outcomes
- Advanced financial modelling skills
