Reporting to the Treasury Manager, the Treasury Analyst plays a pivotal role in the operational and administrative activities of Group Treasury including settlements, transactional banking, liquidity, cash flow forecasting, reporting and maintenance of banking and TMS platforms. The role will also include ad-hoc tasks working in collaboration with the Treasury Manager and Group Treasurer to support key strategic initiatives as they relate to the performance of the business and capital management of the Group in order achieve the Groups’ financial metrics.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor daily cash balances, initiate cash positioning, consolidate and analyse cash flow forecasts to ensure optimal liquidity for the organization.
- Analyse financial data, identify trends and provide insights aiding decision-making.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, in relation to the Cash Flow Statement.
- Conduct daily transactional processing, timely and accurate settlements of FX, interest payments and facilitate and execute loan drawdowns, rollovers and payments.
- Monitor administrative Treasury tasks such as updating bank accounts, SSI's, Authorised Signatories and Authorised Dealers.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in Excel/MS Suite
- Strong track record in meeting deadlines
- Ability to work proactively and autonomously in addition to working as team player
- High attention to detail.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and effective problem-solving capabilities

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or Economics
- Ideally CA / CPA qualified or currently undertaking
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a Treasury Analyst role or similar
