**The Role**

We are looking for a highly motivated Engine Maintenance Technician to support the most powerful engine ever installed in a fighter jet - the F135 engine that powers the most advanced fifth-generation fighter in the world - the F35 Lightning II. Your duties include:

- Performing heavy engine maintenance activities including strip, detailed inspection, and assembly
- Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with approved publications, technical data, and work instructions
- Maintaining documentation of work in progress
- Performing maintenance supervisory/inspection duties as specified by aviation regulators
- Continually looking for way to improve in efficiency and effectiveness
- Taking all reasonable steps to ensure own safety and the safety of others

**Desirable**
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical)
- Demonstrable knowledge of strip, detailed inspection and assembly of the gas turbine engine
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience working within airworthiness rules and regulatory requirements
- The ability to maintain documentation of work in progress and composition of maintenance worksheets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals to meet regulatory requirements
- A passion and drive to deliver to keep their customers flying
