**About the Role**:

- Provide sound professional advice on strategic water management issues, projects and opportunities relevant to the Green Adelaide Landscape Board’s requirements as well as DEW’s responsibilities
- Water related projects are identified, established and implemented within agreed time frames and budgets and to a high quality. This includes participating in strategic Landscape Planning for the Green Adelaide landscape, and undertaking good project management and budgeting.
- Reporting on water-related projects is undertaken within agreed time frames and to a high quality. This includes providing reports to the Green Adelaide Landscape Board, DEW Executive and the Government.
- Effective relationships are proactively managed and maintained with key staff and stakeholders.
- Leadership is provided to effectively manage a team of water management professionals.

**Essential Qualifications**:
Tertiary or Post Graduate qualification in Engineering, Science or Natural Resource Management discipline

**Special Conditions**:

- May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.
- Current Class C driver’s licence, and a willingness to drive, is essential.
- Some out-of-hours work may be required as part of the position.
- This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. You consent to being screened under the process of obtaining a National Police Clearance (NPC), and to the Department requiring you to obtain a National Police Clearance (NPC).

**Remuneration**:
PO4, $109,060 min - $118,690 max p.a.
