**Key responsibilities
In the role of Principal Advisor (Digital Marketing), you will work within the Translink Marketing team to lead the strategic work program for Translink's integrated digital communication strategies and activities that support projects and operational activity.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Develop, manage and evaluate integrated digital communication and data management strategies and activities for Translink's owned digital channels that support and advance the Division's key priorities, brand positioning and online objectives.
- Lead a small team responsible for coordinating, implementing and analysising digital communication and data management activities for Translink Division to ensure the provision of well planned, strategic, high-quality marketing, communication and digital communication services.

This includes but is not limited to social media, e-newsletters,
- Build a team that values performance, improvement, innovation and outcomes, within a positive work environment, with a culture of customer focus.
- Develop partnerships and productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including government, industry and community.
- Undertake research and analysis of departmental and external trends in digital communications to assist with the development of strategies that facilitate maximum exposure and positive impact for key internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyse and report on key metrics and deliverables to inform business communication decisions and continuously improve performance of digital content.
- Maintain an oversight of digital governance, specific to digital marketing activities, ensuring maintenance of accurate records and adherence to processes and procedures in accordance with business requirements and legislation.
- Manage and coordinate on-call function for digital marketing team.
- Actively participate in personal performance planning and. Undertake training and development opportunities.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy workplace by complying with Workplace Health and Safety legislation, codes of practice, standards and Authority policy and procedures and participating in risk management and corrective action programs.
- Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed.

To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
Mandatory qualifications and conditions
- Demonstrated digital and data management strategy experience with a background in coordinating the execution and delivery of digital communication activities and campaigns.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Participation in on-call roster, shared with other team members.
Requirements of the role
- Marketing experience - Demonstrated high-level ability to lead and supervise teams with diverse skillsets, including strategy development and implementation of contemporary digital marketing strategies to deliver persuasive marketing activities.
- Work management - Strong organisational, resource and time management skills, including management of competing priorities, while delivering quality outputs within agreed timeframes.
- Relationships - Develop and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders including senior executives and managers and external partners.
- Collaboration - Work collaboratively with team members and business units to ensure engagement opportunities are effective and synergies between digital marketing projects and initiatives are maximised.
