**About the Role**

The Allied Health Team at St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital has an opportunity for Allied Health Assistants to join the team

The role will see you providing essential support in caring for patients in both acute medical and surgical wards as well as the inpatient rehabilitation service. You will provide both clinical and non-clinical support, working with Allied Health Professionals to ensure all patients receive high quality care.

**About You**

This role will suit an individual with experience in patient manual handling along with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively will be key to your success in this role along with the ability to work effectively as part of a professional team.

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital environment or similar is highly desirable
- A Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (Students working towards qualifications as an Allied Health Therapist will be considered)
- A desire to learn and a strong work ethic
- Weekend availability
- Currently completing an undergraduate allied health or health relevant university course will be highly regarded.
- Client-first attitude with a desire to assist our patients in obtaining the best possible outcomes for their health.
