Teacher - Secondary - Health / Allied Health

A unique opportunity exists at Ripley Valley State Secondary College for a qualified teacher/trainer to develop, build and implement a new innovative Heath Hub program within our senior phase of learning (Years 10-12). The successful applicant must have high level communication skills, be able to work and build relationships with external organisations and employers and have a solid understanding of VET delivery and service requirements.
Assessment or equivalent in order to deliver the VET health program to students across years 10-12. This position within the college is available on a full or part-time basis depending upon the applicants' skills, availability and preference, however a minimum of 2 days is required for Semester 2, 2023. The successful applicant should ideally be able to commence duties at the beginning of Semester 2, 2023 (10TH July, 2023).
The preferred applicant should have a strong working knowledge of the nursing/allied health industry, health employment pathways and be able to establish strong links with local/regional health industries as students undertake studies in Health Services (Cert II and higher). They should also have or be willing to obtain a Cert IV Training and Assessment.
As a teacher at Ripley Valley State Secondary College you will play a vital role in: - Leading curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives

- Developing the quality of teaching and learning
- Nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders. Developing partnerships with external agencies specifically within the field of health and health related industries and educational providers.
