We are seeking an experienced Assistant Program Director to join our dynamic team working on a significant government agency project. As an Assistant Director, you will be at the forefront of program implementation, driving change initiatives, and ensuring the effectiveness of essential service delivery programs.
Please Note: This opportunity is only available for **Australian citizens** due to government security clearance requirements.
**Role Overview**:
As an Assistant Program Director, you will oversee the implementation of vital programs that cater to the needs of various community groups. Reporting to higher management, you will analyze program performance, manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to strategic planning that addresses the service delivery requirements of different communities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the implementation of programs, ensuring their ongoing effectiveness and reporting on performance.
- Manage operational, policy, procedural, and customer service initiatives tied to service delivery and related changes.
- Engage and manage relationships with stakeholders to deliver program services and enhance service delivery capability.
- Represent the agency at meetings and forums, sharing and gathering essential information.
- Provide high-level program advice, procedural guidance, and interpretation to staff.
- Develop and execute work area plans, strategically allocating resources to meet evolving demands.
- Prepare diverse written materials such as business cases, reports, and executive briefs.
- Contribute to program budget management, staffing resources, and corporate reporting.
- Foster innovation, lead change, and support a culture of collaboration and growth.

- Organisational change management (CIPM) - Level 5

- Portfolio, programme and project support (PROF) - Level 5
- Quality management (QUMG) - Level 5
- Requirements definition and management (REQM) - Level 4
