**What you’ll do
**Reporting to the Chapter Lead, and sitting within the Talent, Inclusion and People Capability Practice, the People Capability Lead - People Capability Chapter is responsible for consulting and partnering to enable learning strategy across the Group, leading a team of learning professionals, building team capability, as well as leading strategic initiatives in collaboration with business stakeholders, Value Leads and Product Owners.

The role will have an initial focus on partnering to map out an end-to-end learning strategy for a portfolio of four everyday living businesses that are focussed on creating connected destinations for our customers - BIG W, HealthyLife, Petstock and Woolworths Market Plus.

You will need to be comfortable in embracing agile principles and ways of working, not only within your own team but also with the teams that you partner with. You may have direct accountability for an end result but will need to work within an agile environment and without always direct control over the resources used to achieve the end result.
You will also contribute to re-shaping how learning is done at Woolworths, influencing both top level strategy and stakeholders across all levels to deliver learning experiences that are high impact for both learners and the business. We want to reimagine learning across our business, aligned to our Learning Ambition, and this role working collaboratively with Chapters, Tribes and business partners is part of a team core to that transformation.
- Lead strategic initiatives. Work closely with internal stakeholders and Woolworths business units to understand their commercial objectives, safety outcomes, processes and ways of working to offer expert consulting on end-to-end learning strategies
- Identify and report on success criteria and key metrics for strategic initiatives
- Gain insights into the needs of our Team (our learners) by spending time in their environment and ensure learning strategies are meeting the needs of our Team
- Leading and developing teams. Directly or indirectly lead a team of learning professionals which may include Learning Designers (single experience design) to Learning Experience Designers (Group E2E learning journeys) or strategic learning consultants
- Support talent agility, career development and capability. Coaching & upskilling capability focus across the chapter and communities of practice
- Capability sessions to develop their specific capability focus both across the chapter and in critical roles across the businessDesigning enabling frameworks. Collaborate to build and transform the learning experience for Woolworths Group through developing and continuo
