**Your Role**:
The Principal Infrastructure Services Officer will be expected to provide high level analysis, undertake due diligence, and engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify service provision solutions. This will include engagement on land management, review and implementation of infrastructure and property related systems, policies, projects and programs of work.
Specifically, you will lead in the delivery of both operational and strategic land matters with a focus on outcomes. This includes site services, access, leasing, developer engagement, planning and policy development to achieve site readiness and subsequent tenure actions to facilitate delivery of growth projects.

**About You**:

- Although not mandatory, qualifications or industry experience in Acquisition of Land Act, Land Act administration, Town Planning, tenure conversion, leasing, property valuation and Native Title and Cultural Heritage will be beneficial.
- Experience in leading the delivery of high-quality property advice, including the development of appropriate service responses to meet the identified needs of stakeholders to ensure quality service delivery outcomes are achieved.
- Strong research skills and well-developed written skills, including report and brief writing.
- Awareness and understanding of relevant legislation and policy which impact upon a Queensland Government property portfolio.
- Your willingness to stay connected to industry updates and networks, ability to be proactive and forward thinking, with a strong motivation to work towards organisational objectives will assist your success in this role

The Principal Infrastructure Services Officer (Strategic Advisory) will:

- Lead and manage the implementation of property programs including identification and development of acquisition, disposal and leasing programs, to priorities the services undertaken by Property Services.
- Analyse potential risks, opportunities and strengths in current portfolio by working across the department to identify opportunities, ensuring consistency in decision making, providing learnings for future programs.
- Provide timely, independent specialist property and planning advice, developing strategies, identifying emerging issues and developing and implementing departmental plans which impact key stakeholders within and external to the department.
- Identify legislative and policy obligations and seek to improve operating model within the Division and effectiveness of the Property Services Unit.
- Adopt a project management approach to complex matters to achieve consolidated outcomes.
- Develop and sustain productive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholder groups, including other Property Services teams of Leasing, Tenure and Operational Services, Acquisition & Divestment, property owners, regional infrastructure advisors and across government departments.

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
