Network Design and Integration is a Group within the Department of Transport and Planning and is responsible for delivery of transport priorities through the planning, development, and maintenance of and integrated pipeline of projects and strategic initiatives that provide safe, efficient and sustainable outcomes to all Victorians, supporting transport infrastructure, freight, roads and road safety, public and active transport.

Road Safety Victoria is a Division the Department of Transport and Planning and is responsible for leading the Victorian Government to achieve Zero road fatalities by 2050.

Road Safety Partnerships and Programs leads the activation and engagement of the Victorian Community to embed a culture of road safety by delivering strategies, initiatives, programs and projects that improve road safety and minimise trauma on Victoria’s roads.

**About the Role**

**This position is **Fixed Term Full time until 4/11/2024.**

The Road Safety Partnerships Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting delivery of initiatives, programs and projects on time, within budget and meeting stakeholder requirements by supporting operational, assurance, reporting and administrative functions. Working with internal and external stakeholders, the Road Safety Partnerships Program Coordinator will coordinate business operations and will proactively identify and implement process and system improvements that enable Road Safety program efficiency and effectiveness.

As part of a state-wide team, this role is responsible for building effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support the objective of Victoria’s Road Safety Strategy.

**Position Outcomes**

The Road Safety Partnerships Support Officer requires to provide operational and program support to the Partnerships team, conducting monitoring and reporting activities for programs, projects, and initiatives. They assist in building the team's capability in using key tools and systems, while the Road Safety Partnerships Program Coordinator effectively manages processes and systems for the Partnerships team, coordinates workflows, and implements continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders. Additionally, the coordinator has established strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managed record and finance activities in compliance with regulations, and addressed risks and opportunities through quality assurance activities. They also promote safe, inclusive, and flexible team operations.
