**Join our Older Persons Mental Health Team as a Team Manager (multi-class position)**

The focus of Older Persons Mental Health Service (OPMHS) in South Australia is to support older people to maximise their mental health.

**About the Role**:
The Team Manager uses their Clinical knowledge and experience to provide the pivotal co-ordination of client care delivery within the Older Persons Community Mental Health team. Duties for the role will include:

- Line management, coordination and leadership of the multi-disciplinary team activities to achieve continuity and quality of client care and outcomes and efficient client flow,
- Contribute to the development of, implementation of, and monitoring of corporate policies and processes and lead in their area of expertise,
- Ensure mechanisms are in place to support ongoing education where work and learning are integrated,
- Development of team performance and a positive work culture in the interest of client outcomes.

**About you**:

- Registered as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds a current practicing certificate. Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice, OR
- Allied Health qualification (Bachelor or above) from a recognised tertiary institution and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency for relevant professions or eligibility for membership with relevant professional association where appropriate,
- Demonstrated leadership qualities including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills,
- Ability to work collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team to promote communication processes to enable best client outcomes.
