Our hotels never sleep. So, we’re looking for a Porter to join our Night team. From the moment a guests steps into our hotel, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Porter, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle their luggage or park their car but also offer local insights and anticipate details to ensure a friction-free experience. You’ll create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

- Working overnight shifts over a 7 day rotating roster
- Deliver memorable guests experiences to guests with a swift personal service - not forgetting to recognise and record guest preferences
- Handle guest luggage and items with respect and care; ensure safe driving techniques are always displayed
- Leading the way as a brand ambassador to promote the hotel’s outlets and activities
- Collating and sharing local knowledge of events, places of interests and restaurants
- Work with the Concierge and Front Office teams to provide guests with porter, valet and concierge services

What We need from you:

- Communication skills - guest will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to
- Strive for excellence in an eager and motivated manner
- Possess the ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
- Flexibility
- night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
- Fluent English and local language are essential, any additional languages would be great
- Strong - sometimes you’ll need to lift, push, pull big objects up to 23kgs
- Compliant - you’ll be above minimum age required and hold a Full SA Drivers Licence. Confident and competent in driving and parking guest cars of varying sizes
