**About the Company**

Davidson are currently working with a state government client who are seeking an experienced AO7 Principal Training & Learning Content Officer.

**About the Role**

Our client is undertaking a significant multi-year digital transformation initiative to modernise its business systems, enable online service delivery and support a mobile workforce by implementing new Microsoft based systems and decommissioning legacy systems The primary technologies are Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Experience, Power Platform and Power BI. The initiative is being delivered using a lean agile methodology.

As the Principal Training & Learning Content Officer you will develop the Training plan and design, produce and write training and course materials for our users. You will be responsible for leading training to end-users and ensuring the upskilling of staff to the new ways of working. Reporting to the Change Manager you will work within the change team, with the greater project team, and closely with business stakeholders.

You will be required to research and recommend suitable technology to support the i-learning and development content including a review of our existing systems and potential new systems.

**Role**
- Develop the Training Plan to support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics across the department.
- Conduct needs analysis in conjunction with the Change Team to determine the training requirements and scope.
- Research, recommend and implement a training platform(s), best suited to deliver for the needs and requirements of the business.
- Develop curricula, course outlines, and other instructional aids.
- Design and create/develop/author engaging training content and e-learning materials that may include training guides, facilitators guides, Train-the Trainer guides, eLearning, self-paced courses, handouts, checklists, assessment, presentations, scripts, videos, etc. using appropriate software.
- Establish and maintain content in a library of reusable assets.
- Review and evaluate training materials and programs as part of our continuous improvement program.
- Present training to users in person or via video conference, one-on-one or in small groups.
- Participate in project work streams, staying within scope, and meet or exceed project schedules.
- Collaborate with support, technical and business teams to ensure successful delivery of training that meet business requirements.

**About You**
- Knowledge of digital learning principles and practices as well as current and future trends in digital technologies.
- High level interpersonal and professional communication skills to work effectively with individuals and teams with different levels of technical knowledge.
- Ability to assess priorities, problem solve, manage components of work and negotiate for positive outcomes.
- Conceptualise, design and develop high quality blended learning artefacts to support digital (ICT) adoption.
- Design high quality learner-centric digital learning experiences and resources (courseware and simulations using Articulate Storyline 360 or Adobe Captivate or similar authoring tool).
- Conduct detailed Training Needs Analyses to establish learner profiles, training plan and scope of the curriculum.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, including the ability to plan, manage and report on allocated pieces of work and problem solve and recommend solutions for issues as they arise.
- Ability to rapidly learn and understand technical IT solutions and platforms.

**Desirable**
- Experience in working within Agile ICT project environments.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent).
- Experience in social services and/or public sector ICT projects, particularly in the delivery of transformative ICT solutions.
- Working knowledge Dynamics 365 platforms.
