AO7 Principal Media Officer Stunning Brisbane CBD office (hybrid work) ASAP Start – Initial 3-month contract (possible extension) $80-86 per hour + Super (PAYG, 38 hours) Six Degrees Executive is recruiting an AO7 Principal Media Officer for a large QLD Government agency who are working in important initiatives to improve the lives of Queenslanders.

This role will require a senior media professional with excellent strategic content writing skills to take complex information and translate it into numerous narrative prices for both media and communications materials. Whilst having the support of a broader media team this role will be working primarily autonomously on specific issues.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and leading proactive and reactive media strategies and activities that support the department’s programs, policies and initiatives Writing keynote speeches Strategic media and crisis communications support Developing compelling content to show how our initiatives are improving the lives of Queenslanders Preparing and arranging approval of a range of materials, including speeches, media releases and media responses Providing high level advice to the Director, Executive Director and other departmental senior leaders on best practice strategic media solutions Monitoring and evaluating media activities through effective reporting, metrics and analysis to ensure continuous improvement Managing escalations, complex issues and crisis communications, and providing professional guidance and support as required Apply by submitting your resume using the ‘apply now’ button.
