Principal HR Advisor AO7
Your New Company:
This well respected government agency is looking for a Principal HR Advisor to join their operations to provide operational HR and ER support to internal business clients. This role is available on a 6 month contract with option to extend a further 6 months, and is available for an ASAP start. Our client is looking for someone with established public-sector experience, with remuneration for the position in the range of AO7 equivalent depending on skills and experience.

Your New Responsibilities:

- Working closely with leaders to guide and support the local management and resolution of people issues, ranging from simple to complex matters
- Provide tailored advice and solutions to progress identified workforce management, role design and recruitment priorities
- Proactively work with leaders and teams to help ensure good governance and compliance
- Actively contribute to the development of HR policies and business practices
- Produce HR correspondence, plans, reports, briefs and training materials/content
- Provide end to end management of complex case matters (performance, conduct and discipline) and employee complaints, when required
- Provide day to day supervision and guidance for less experienced HR staff, reporting to the Manager of People and Safety.

You will have:

- Previous Public Sector experience essential
- Well developed interpersonal skills
- An excellent communicator whether that be verbal or written
- Experience dealing with sensitive matters
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships
