**The Role**
Reporting into the National Manager radio Sales and LOTE Media, this role will see you doing the following:
The SBS Media sales team is driven by a culture of continuous improvement. We are looking for a Group Sales Manager for a maternity relief contract to lead a high performing team to deliver business outcomes and implement SBS Media's sales strategy.
- Use your cross platform sales leadership experience within the SBS Media Sales team to drive commercial success.
- Be responsible for delivering business outcomes for our clients and revenue targets across our distinctive Radio and TV network and digital assets, including our market leading SBS On Demand platform.
- Build and foster positive relationships with clients, media agencies, Multicultural influencers, internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and present bespoke advertising solutions to clients and media agencies leveraging all SBS platforms
**About you**
- Demonstrated capability as a highly constructive people leader who is passionate about team development and growth
- Solid experience working as a Senior Sales Executive or Group Sales Manager (or similar) within the media industry
- Strong established relationships with media agencies and record of consistent over-achievement of sales targets
- Proven experience in leading and coaching teams to deliver results with a focus on innovation, partnership and collaboration
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to positively influence outcomes
- Experience in selling and implementing Radio campaigns
- Demonstrated experience working in the Australian CALD media landscape
