**Our Opportunity**:
**Work Location**: Perth. Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

**Roster**: Monday - Friday (with site travel)

The role will report to the Procurement Services Lead, Fortescue.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Guide Global Procurement Support team through the full cycle of the Procure to Pay (P2P) process to ensure smooth transitions from vendor identification, to creation of Purchase Requisition through to final payment.
- Assist the Global Procurement Support team in facilitating Vendor Onboarding process in a timely manner, including ensuring onboarding requests meet Fortescue Governance requirements; liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors to complete documentation & System activation.
- Supervise the team responsible for the training and support of internal stakeholders on P2P processes. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that purchasing activities align with Fortescue governance and compliance requirements.
- Conduct weekly reviews on critical and important project / regions to ensure all P2P requests are progressed without delay
- Provide ongoing support and answer queries to ensure adherence to procurement policies and best practices. Support project teams across the globe in relation to P2P queries and issues as required.
- Work closely with Procurement Systems team to escalate and resolve systems issue affecting P2P processes. Ensure system updates and outages are managed in accordance with the business requirements of impacted time zone.
- Work closely with Accounts Payables team to ensure invoices are processed on time and overdue invoices are addressed with the right level of urgency. Regularly liaise with internal stakeholders to review open and outstanding invoices.
- Escalate and collaborate with stakeholders in different time zones to solve Purchase Order, Vendor Onboarding or Payment issues globally.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Ability to lead and support team members across different time zones.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple P2P requests.
- Strong communication skills are essential to effectively liaise with vendors and to keep internal stakeholders updated on relevant P2P matters.
- Strong project management skills to manage tasks in a timely and collaborative manner with multiple areas /functions within Fortescue in different time zones, often in short timeframes.
- Excellent attention to detail including precision in completing documentation and ensuring compliance with Governance requirements.
- Problem solving capacity to find practical solutions to keep progress on track where internal / external stakeholders have not comprehensively addressed requirements.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a global team (will require working across time zones).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience with SAP preferred.
